I’m blind.” Neil says waving a hand in the vague direction of his face.Īt that, Andrew is the one who startles. “You can’t… read?” Andrew asks and watches as Neil startles slightly at his voice. I was just wondering if you’d be able to read this for me?”Īndrew stares in confusion at the man as he thrusts a piece of paper in front of him, handing it to Andrew.Īndrew takes it from the man’s hands slowly. “Hello.” The man says, a small guilty looking smile overtaking his face. The next thing Andrew notices, through his dark glasses, is the scars around the man’s eye’s and his unfocused gaze around Andrew’s face. Andrew’s neck basically had a permanent pain in it from having to look up to people’s faces but this man only had a few inches on Andrew.

The first thing Andrew notices about the man on the other side of the door is that Andrew only has to look up slightly to see his face. Having an almost blacked out vision is a lot less of a problem then dealing with another statue at his front door would be so he sucks it up as he stares at the dark figure on his front step.

He grabs the tinted sunglasses from the table beside his front door, sliding them on and obscuring his vision before he opens it. He stands lowly from his seat in front of the television watching shitty reality shows. Andrew sighed as he heard the knock at his apartment door.
